It's easy to install and set up, and once you've installed it, they water automatically with minimal monitoring - ideal for small to medium gardens or allotments - and can be used for pots, raised beds, hanging baskets, vegetables and greenhouses.
Unlike conventional timer systems, it waters little and often. The soil remains moist so that excess water does not run off and water can be saved. A 200 litre water barrel usually lasts 3 weeks.
No complicated laying of pipes or hoses is required and there is no need to carry heavy watering cans around your garden, saving you a lot of time.
